Service Description

A chicken workshop like no other!! This 3 hour workshop begins on the farm with an in depth dive into the world of chicken keeping. We will cover the basics of Flock Selection, Housing, Space needed, Diet & Nutrition, Health, common illnesses & organic treatments, housing, bio-security and pasturing your birds. Afternoon session our participants will review the basic anatomy and proper care for your new flock. Participants will go home with a Chicken Keeper binder loaded with reference materials but more importantly, will leave with the confidence of being well suited for their new chicken keeping role and much more. Our chicken friends will go home with a Cedar Crest Farm bag tote sporting our workshop moto: "Raise Your Food, Raise Your Awareness"
