Our wonderfully blended NON GMO scratch grains are artisanally crafted the old fashioned way: with Oats, Wheat, Milo, Cracked corn and pulled together with beautiful Soybean Oil.  By adding Soybean Oil, the grains become coated with with Vitamin E & K, which in turn allows the good carbs to be absorbed into the birds digestive tract more efficiently.  The purpose Scratch Grains is to keep the metabolism moving during the night in order to allow the birds to stay warm & to add additional carbohydrates and good fats into your flocks' diet for a healthy amount of weight gain going into the winter months.  This is especially important for our cold weather Chicken Keepers and a very good husbandry practice!
